From the farmlands of eastern North Carolina to the central California coastline city of Monterey, and from the high-school gridiron to the marching fields of college ROTC, Dr. Todd Stewart has been serving his community and his country for over thirty years.
From his college years at East Carolina University, where he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant to New York University College of Dentistry, where he achieved his dream of becoming a Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Stewart has practiced dentistry for over 20 years while continuing his military service as a member of the Army Reserves. While practicing in eastern North Carolina after completing his residency in New York, he volunteered for a period of active duty service in Iraq and upon completion of this tour, Dr. Stewart moved to Charlotte to open his dental practice.
When he is not volunteering serving his community, Dr. Stewart (a licensed pilot) enjoys flying, boating, and traveling. Dr. Stewart takes pride in staying abreast of the latest advances in dentistry through numerous continuing education courses. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Mecklenburg County Dental Society.
Dr. Shirley Henderson, a California native, recieved her bachelor of science degree from San Jose State University. She then earned her doctorate degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She practiced several years in California before moving to North Carolina thirteen years ago with her family. She is proud to call North Carolina home and enjoys hiking, sight seeing around the state, reading and family activities.
